Kharkiv public and volunteer organizations demand to ban the Moscow church in Ukraine

Public organizations of the Kharkiv region sent letters to people’s deputies who refused to sign an appeal in support of the draft law banning the Orthodox FSB branch in Ukraine. Including:

• The head of the permanent commission on issues of science, education and spirituality of the Kharkiv regional council Kuts Halyna Mykhailivna

We emphasize that the churches of the Moscow Patriarchate are a powerful tool for the propaganda of the “Russian peace” and a serious threat to the national security of the state.

Banning the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church on the territory of Ukraine can solve the situation. This will be facilitated by the adoption of Law of Ukraine No. 8371, which is awaiting voting in the second reading.

Appeals were sent to 146 people’s deputies. In particular, to representatives of factions of political parties “Servant of the People” and “Batkivshchyna”, representatives of parliamentary groups “Platform for Life and Peace”, “Trust”, “Restoration to the Country”, “For the Future” and non-factional deputies.
