This week, the mobile employment center worked in the de-occupied village of Borshchyvka, Izyum district.
Specialists of the employment service familiarized the residents of the Borshchyv Starostyn District with modern services and services of the employment service that help to find a job. Visitors also learned about grant programs that help start their own business or develop an existing business. In addition, those present received information about the conditions of vocational training, including by obtaining a voucher.
Oleksandr Kotukov, director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, while talking to people, emphasized that the purpose of such an event is to show different opportunities for self-realization of each resident. Directions for solving employment issues of the local population were discussed with the head of the district Lidia Shulga, in particular through the organization of socially useful works.
7 local employers were present at the event, among them – Agrofirm “Borshchivske”, Nova Poshta, Pokrovsk Correctional Colony, Communal Enterprise “Vympel” and others. Job seekers were offered such relevant vacancies as: motor vehicle driver, agricultural tractor driver, cashier operator, order taker, inspector (penitentiary system), pumping station operator, chemical water treatment operator, electrician for repair and maintenance of electrical equipment, auxiliary worker, etc.
In total, more than 40 citizens took part in the job fair, including 2 internally displaced persons. As a result of the event, 16 people received the status of unemployed, 9 expressed a desire to join the “Recovery Army”, 2 people were interested in job offers from employers, 4 – the opportunity to receive a micro-grant, 1 – to undergo training at the expense of a voucher.
At the end of the meeting, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center and the Borshchyv Starostyn District of the Balaklia City Council.
