Oleksandr Kotukov, director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, paid a working visit to the “House of Mercy” RO, which is a customer of socially useful works.
“House of Mercy” is the first shelter for forcibly evacuated citizens from Vovchansk and Kupyansk. Diana Lytvyn, deputy head of the organization, expressed her gratitude to the employment service for the opportunity to immediately provide work to these people, showed the premises where about 70 displaced people live.
Involuntarily displaced persons work in the kitchen, in the farm yard, and clean the territory.
Workers of the “Recovery Army” accompany evacuees for recovery and processing of necessary documents, conduct classes with children, provide psychological and humanitarian assistance.
Currently, the question of assigning the “House of Mercy” the status of a place of temporary stay for internally displaced persons is being resolved, after which about 200 people will be able to find shelter there.
