On 10.06, a psychological event titled “Detox of Consciousness. Mental Immunity” was held at the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysokyi settlement council, conducted by specialists from the NGO “Green-Landia” for women aged 18+.
During the event, participants explored topics such as toxic behavior and positive thinking.
At the beginning, participants shared their “here and now” emotional state and discussed their thoughts on toxicity and positivity. They also examined what actually lies behind toxic behavior (insecurity, defense mechanisms, attempts at manipulation) and how to recognize toxic positivity.
An important focus was placed on distinguishing blind (toxic) optimism (“everything is great, don’t think about the bad”) from realistic positive thinking. Participants learned to accept all their emotions (including sadness, anger, anxiety), while transforming them into constructive actions by focusing on opportunities and internal resources.
According to feedback, the women expressed a request for further meetings on similar topics. The next one will take place on 12.06.
