An open volleyball tournament of the Kharkiv district “Christmas meetings” among men’s teams took place – High Hub Youth Center

On December 23, 2023, an open volleyball tournament of the Kharkiv district “Christmas meetings” among men’s teams took place in the village of Babai of the Vysochan community

The tournament was initiated, organized and held by the Kharkiv District Volleyball Federation under the chairmanship of Mykola Blagovestov with the support Молодіжний центр High Hub and Nataliya Pakhnina, CU of the Sports Center for All “Sports for All” in the person of director Mykola Pryvedenny and the Vysochan settlement council.

Volodymyr Shmakov, the Chairman of the Board of the Kharkiv District Volleyball Federation and the chief judge of the competition addressed the participants of the competition with congratulations and Наталія Пахніна

6 teams from 5 territorial communities of Kharkiv region participated in the tournament: Vysochanska, Pisochynska, Southern, Chuguyivska, Zmiivska.

According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:

1st place – “Spartak” Vysoky

2nd place — Birky

3rd place — South

Participating teams are awarded cups and diplomas, players – medals, according to prize places in the tournament table. The best players of the teams were awarded personal diplomas, including Oleksiy Poimanov – the best player of the winning team

The tournament took place in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The games took place in a tense emotional struggle with a lot of spectacular attacks and long draws. In the final game for 1st and 2nd place between equal teams – rivals, sports passions and excitement were stirred among the fans. This time, sporting luck and victory were on the side of VC “Spartak” Vysoky.
