A move that shapes the future of the community
On April 26, the Pokotylivka House of Culture turned into a territory of intellectual duels, strategic decisions, and true chess endurance.
28 young chess players met at the boards, including visitors of the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysochanska settlement council and 17 students of the Vysochanska Youth Sports School. Each game became a test of character, concentration, and the ability to think several moves ahead.
The tournament united three categories, where each level had its own special tension:
experienced ranked players;
ambitious players without a rank;
beginners who are just discovering the magic of 64 squares.
In chess, the advantage goes to the one who sees combinations well, can calculate risks, and keep a cool mind even in time trouble.

Chess has special value for the community. It educates strategists, builds discipline, patience, logic, and the ability to make balanced decisions. These are exactly the qualities needed by the younger generation not only at the board, but also in life.
