Diary of a Study Visit to Youth Centers in Ivano-Frankivsk Region by Representatives of High Hub Youth Center, Vysokyi Community: Natalia Pakhnina and Psychologist Svitlana Ridkozubova
07.11.24 – The journey began with a visit to the wonderful and sunny city of Dolyna, known for its lumberjacks and oil workers. The team was introduced to the space and team of the youth center “Khizhka” and participated in engaging activities at the center and the local Palace of Culture: a soft skills workshop simulation, a Living Library with community activists, and a panel discussion on the role of volunteering in developing youth center initiatives.
In the evening, the “Hunters for Doors” quest provided an opportunity to explore Ivano-Frankivsk at night, chasing down restored doors as part of the initiative #FrankivskToBePreserved.
08.11.24 – The day started with a meeting with the team of the Youth Center “Kahanets” in Burshtyn, exploring their newly renovated space. The second part of the day included a visit to the “Hub 9Z” Youth Center in Kalush, followed by lunch at the local restaurant “Kukurudza,” marking the end of an unforgettable study visit to the Youth Centers of Ivano-Frankivsk region.
