From the first note to standing ovations: the story of a 16-year-old girl conquering big stages.
Today, a special atmosphere filled the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysokyi Settlement Council. Some came out of curiosity, others to support a girl they knew, and some simply wanted to spend the evening among friends. But after the very first notes, it became clear: everyone was about to meet a true talent.
The main star of the evening was 16-year-old singer Vitalina Bessonova — sincere, charismatic, determined, and endlessly in love with music.
Her story is no less inspiring than her voice.
Her musical journey began at the age of four. Since then, there have been music school, lyceum studies, individual lessons, master classes with professional performers, international competitions, acting and journalism experience, and participation in large-scale festivals.
Today, Vitalina already has her own band, “220beat,” performs on major stages in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, and Ternopil, and this year she performed in a duet with Serhii Zhadan during the tour of the band “Zhadan i Sobaky” in Kharkiv and Ternopil.
But what impressed everyone most today was not the stories about diplomas, awards, or big stages — it was her sincerity.
Throughout the evening, the audience enjoyed Ukrainian songs, world jazz and rock hits, original compositions, and every performance resonated deeply with listeners.
One of the most emotional moments was the performance of the famous song “Night” by the band “Zhadan i Sobaky.” The audience sang along, smiled, and listened to every word.
Moments like these remind us that great dreams are born right beside us — among children and young people who work on themselves every day, are not afraid of the stage, and move confidently toward their goals.
