I met this man through work. He was working at the Klas logistics HUB on goods reception.
Attentive, always willing to help when it was necessary to unload quickly.
On my next visit to the HUB, I called him and found out that he was already among the defenders.
When asked if he was supplied with medical gear, he sent a photo of the issued first aid kit. I won’t say it was terrible. There was a decent occlusive dressing, a dressing pack, scissors, 2 hemostatics, SICH tourniquets, and some other Chinese items. A couple of bandages, gloves, and an eye shield.
But the bag itself – cheap and useless.
So I sent him a good bag with an Israeli bandage, a thermal blanket, plaster, marker, casualty card, and various small items. He requested CAT tourniquets because they were trained on them, so I included a few of those.
The delivery was paid by Humanitarian Nova Poshta, for which I am grateful once again.
