On 01.08, the High Hub Youth Center held career-related activities in the OKC Smart Community:
During the first event, young people watched the educational film of the BBC “What professions will be needed in 5-10 years”
This is a very relevant question because it is then that most of the visitors to the High Hub Youth Center events will get to work
Most professions that exist today did not exist in 1940. And the labor market continues to change rapidly.
Correspondent of the BBC of Ukraine Oleg Karpyak talks about what professions will be needed in the near future.
During the discussion of the plot with trainer Natalia Pakhnina, the youth expressed their thoughts on this topic:
Vladyslav, 16 years old “I think that in 5-10 years, the profession of auto mechanic repairing electric cars will be relevant. Because their number is growing rapidly and requires appropriate maintenance”
A 15-year-old novel “I want to become a UAV operator, perhaps after the end of the war, the use of drones will be very widespread in agriculture, construction and transportation. This, in my opinion, is the profession of the future.”
The live library “Art of speaking beautifully” with actor Vyacheslav Loboda was the second event of the day
The guest told the youth about public speaking, which is the main professional tool of an actor and in what other fields it is used
After that, the participants practiced tongue twisters and self-presentations.
The visitors were unanimous in their feedback – such meetings with creative personalities are interesting and useful both for the future choice of a profession and for the current successful study
The project is implemented by the public organization Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine and the public organization NGO Youth Platform NGO “Youth Platform” within the framework of the USAID Ukraine – USAID Ukraine Dream and Act program, which is implemented by IREX in Ukraine
With support “Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine”
