We learned a lot of new useful information:
methods and technologies of propaganda and manipulation
how to distinguish photo fakes
how to check any image on the internet
Also, during networking, we learned to recognize clickbait headlines and manipulations, and during the association game, we had fun demonstrating the basic concepts of media literacy with the help of movements and gestures.
Angelina, 18 years old: “I haven’t visited the High Hub Youth Center for a long time, it’s the first time at media literacy events. I really liked everything, it was interesting and rich.”
Mark, 18 years old “I became the winner of the game “Cybersafe Crocodile” today. It was interesting to complete all the tasks, especially writing headlines for the newspaper. I understood how media manipulation works.”
