On October 28, 2024, the “Povernennia” Hub hosted an important event for the families of fallen, missing, and imprisoned defenders of Ukraine.
The ALL-UKRAINIAN ASSOCIATION OF RELATIVES OF MISSING AND FALLEN DEFENDERS OF UKRAINE, together with the “Povernennia” Hub, joined forces to support family members by providing legal consultations on urgent matters. Participants had the opportunity to receive professional advice regarding payments, pensions, compensations, and other critical issues essential for supporting the families of fallen and missing heroes.
Legal consultations were provided by:
- Yurii Danilenko, Head of the NGO “Union of ATO Veterans”;
- Alik Kerimov, project lawyer and head of the law firm “Kerimov and Partners”;
- Nataliia Volska, lawyer and Head of the Council of Families of the Fallen at the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
This event was organized by the NGO “Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine,” led by Chairman Mykola Blahovestov, with the support of ISAR Ednannia under the Civil Society Sectoral Support Initiative project. This project is implemented by ISAR Ednannia in consortium with the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research and the Center for Democracy and Rule of Law, with the generous support of the American people provided through USAID Ukraine.
