Open beach volleyball tournament in Babai: emotions, excitement and victory!
On June 2, 2024, an open beach volleyball tournament among women’s youth teams dedicated to Children’s Day was held in the village of Babai, Kharkiv district. This significant day was the first time that a women’s beach volleyball tournament was held in Babai, and it gathered 10 teams from the community and the Kharkiv region.
The Kharkiv Region Volleyball Federation under the leadership of Mykola Blagovestov carefully prepared and organized the tournament, ensuring a high level of competition and maximum safety of sports equipment.
Teams from Valok, Bogodukhov and Vysoko, as well as the hosts of the tournament – a team from Babai, competed in a fierce battle for victory. All games were emotional and spectacular, especially the semifinals and finals.
The atmosphere on the court was festive, and the excitement and high spirits of the players did not leave the audience indifferent.
The winners and prize-winners of the tournament received cups, medals and diplomas, and all participants received commemorative diplomas.

- 6th place: VK Babai

- 8th place: VK Bogoduhiv – 1
- 9th place: “Spartak” Vysoky – 4
- 10th place: VK Bogoduhiv – 2
All participants of the tournament expressed their sincere gratitude to the organizers for the excellent organization and conduct of the competition. Special thanks were expressed to the head of the Volleyball Federation, Mykola Blagovestov, and to the communal institution of the Sports Center of the FZN “Sport for All” for their cooperation.
