Today, July 7, the opening of the educational and cultural center “Smart community” took place in the village of Pokotylivka.
“This is a volunteer project, this is a won grant. At the end of 2023, we won a grant announced by European Solidarity from the Petro Poroshenko Foundation. In Pokotylivka, we were able to find premises and make repairs for the open space, which will house not only volunteer and public organizations, but also our youth center, which has been operating in our community for the third year already – the High Youth Center,” said the co-founder of the center. volunteer, deputy of the Vysochan settlement council from “European Solidarity” Natalia Pakhnina.
“High Hub” and “Smart community” were created for young people for non-formal education, psychological support, training of leadership skills and useful leisure time. Youth centers hold free events, including creative evenings with famous Ukrainian figures. More than 4,500 people became visitors to the educational and cultural space.

The creative space was consecrated by Archbishop Mitrofan, an honorary citizen of the Kharkiv region. And after the grand opening, the first workshop on weaving wreaths from wild flowers was held in the walls of the center, which was conducted by a volunteer, artist Ms. Lana.
