Recently, on July 7, 2024, on the day of remembrance of all the saints of the Ukrainian land, His Eminence Archbishop Mitrofan of Kharkiv and Slobozhan led the service of the divine liturgy in the church of Reverend Agapit Pecherskyi in the village of Rocking chair
Archpriest Leonid Korenskyi and chaplain Volodymyr Lipchanskyi co-served as bishop. The faithful had the opportunity to receive the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
After the service, for his services to the Local Orthodox Church of Ukraine and for his sacrifice and love for Ukraine, the first deputy commander of the detachment – the chief of staff, Colonel Mykhailiuk Oleksandr Kostiantynovych, was awarded the Order of the Holy Great Martyr Yuri the Victorious.
At the end, Archbishop Mitrofan addressed all those present with an instructive word on the theme of the Gospel reading and congratulated them on the holiday.
It was a truly touching and sublime divine service, which strengthened the faith of the faithful and gave them inspiration for further service to the Lord.
