SANCTIFICATION OF PASOK IN BABAYA
On May 5, 2024, the Orthodox Church celebrated the greatest holiday of all holidays and a celebration of celebrations – the Bright Resurrection of Christ. At the invitation of the residents of the village of Babai and with the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Mitrofan of Kharkiv and Slobozhansk, Archpriest Leonid Korenskyi, abbot of the parish of Venerable Agapit of Pechersk, offered a festive prayer and consecrated Easter baskets.
The holiday took place on the Skovoroda trail. After the festive feast, volunteers organized an event for children.
Talented, sensitive, kind, creative, generous and polite children took part in competitions and received interesting gifts.
Hryhoriy Skovoroda wrote: “Let’s find a new heart. Let’s dress in the clothes of new incorruptible hopes, in the heart of brotherly love. Then all life will light up for us, the whole world will dance and jump. We will have Easter every day, the sun will not set on us, and the moon will not wane us. We will call ourselves a holy people, people of renewal.”
How we want our children to have a happy childhood, to grow up in peace and harmony, to have the opportunity to develop and realize themselves.
Goodness and light will surely defeat evil and darkness! We believe in victory, help each other and make our village better!
