We would like to share our impressions
On Sunday, May 18, a special community cleanup took place at the Hnat Khotkevych Estate together with the “Khai Hub” Youth Center of the Vysochanska Settlement Council — and Serhiy Zhadan himself joined the event!
The atmosphere was incredible: inspired work, lively conversations, and a shared sense of purpose — to clear the thickets that had grown on the estate’s meadow since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. Serhiy Zhadan actively participated in the cleanup. His energy and sincere support became a true inspiration for all the participants.
Together we accomplished a lot:
- cleared the meadow
- collected trash
- trimmed trees
- weeded flowerbeds
Each such event is a building block in preserving our cultural heritage and creating a comfortable space in our community.
We also extend our sincere thanks to all the volunteers who came and dedicated their time to this important cause. Your work is priceless! For example, artist Lenchyk Desiushka held a postcard-making workshop with cat designs for the military.
