“Sharp Cartuzes”: The Elite Special Unit of Kharkiv Region Holding the Defense
The “Sharp Cartuzes” special unit consists of our soldiers currently defending the Kharkiv and Donetsk fronts.
Despite being a small unit with only a few members, these volunteers have been making a big impact since the very first days of the invasion, initially fighting in civilian clothes with whatever weapons they could acquire. Now recognized by the British press as an “elite unit,” their videos showcasing precision strikes on Belgorod and Russian equipment crossing the border have garnered hundreds of thousands of views, thanks to their impressive footage.
Our Gratitude Goes Out To:
- The production division “Needles and Threads” led by Mykola Karakaptan for providing stretchers and capes. Special thanks to Lilia Lyashenko and Nataliia Zolochevska for their excellent craftsmanship in sewing.
- Maria Semchuk and Serhii Hushpyt for their generous contributions, including three types of lard, lard paste, pâtés, meat products, homemade sausages, barrel-pickled cucumbers, ketchup, and other delicacies.
- The family of Anna Turchyk, Alla Afanasivna, Tetiana, and Tomara, alongside residents of the Shevchenkivskyi district, for their tireless efforts in organizing supplies, from homemade pastries to warm clothing and donations.
