“East-West” humanitarian aid organization participates in the evacuation of the population from the border areas of Kharkiv Oblast, which have now become front-line.
A number of volunteer organizations, social and emergency services are involved in the process.
SUVs pick up people from the border areas and deliver them to the entrance to Kharkiv, where people are already picked up in groups by minibuses and delivered to the distribution center.
IDPs are registered there, humanitarian aid is given to those who have nowhere to live, and they are distributed among dormitories. Volunteers also provide hot lunches, coffee, tea.
Then people are taken to places of temporary stay.
