Yesterday, on October 11, our Municipal Youth Center “High Hub” of the Vysochanska Village Council hosted an incredibly warm and touching event — a presentation of the creative works and the celebration of the birthday of an outstanding Ukrainian writer and volunteer, our native of Kharkiv, Lyudmyla Okhrimenko.
It was an evening filled with deep conversations, sincere emotions, and powerful energy. Ms. Lyudmyla shared the stories that inspired her new works and spoke about her volunteer journey — her words resonated deeply with everyone present.
She also donated a book titled “Zmishani” (“Mixed”) to the future library of our Youth Center — an artistic and philosophical novel by Rustam Hivazovych, based on real events of the Russian-Ukrainian war. It tells the story of a Ukrainian volunteer who changed his life to defend his country.
Once again, we congratulate Ms. Lyudmyla on her birthday! We wish her strong health, endless inspiration, and new books that are just as important and sincere!
