Final of the project “Skills of the Third Millennium”: learned to act, support, and believe in themselves.
The activities began with a screening of the documentary “House with Chimeras” by Docudays UA. It helped to understand that even one person, well aware of their rights, can achieve a lot. After the screening, the youth were invited to take part in a brainstorming session “How to Protect Rights,” which allowed them to recall the legal tools that citizens can use even without a legal education.
The second activity was an art-therapeutic session “Circle of Support.” Using “air” plasticine, participants first sculpted figures associated with unpleasant things or emotions. Then, by breaking them and adding new colors, they created positive symbols and objects.
Next, they played the board game “The Best Version of Yourself,” which is aimed at self-discovery, personal growth, and building confidence. They also took part in a “Circle of Support,” where everyone said kind words to each other.
The day ended with the awarding of certificates and cake!
The events are held within the framework of the project “Skills of the Third Millennium,” implemented by the Municipal Institution Youth Center “HIGH HUB” of the Vysokyi settlement council with the support of the Kharkiv Community Foundation “Toloka” within the project “Community Pulse,” funded by the Global Fund for Community Foundations.
