⚖️ The right to be yourself: at the High Hub Youth Center, an event on human rights education for children and teenagers was held on the topic “Children’s Rights”

⚖️ Право бути собою: у Молодіжному центрі High Hub провели для дітей і підлітків захід з освіти в галузі прав людини на тему «Права дитини»

On February 22, at the High Hub Youth Center

Human rights activist Yuriy Chumak held an event on human rights education for children and teenagers on the topic “Children’s Rights.” The discussion was not in textbook language but through experiences, examples, and documentary films.

Together, they watched the Docudays UA film “Champion” — the story of a young Romani girl who, through determination and strength of character, achieves success in the boxing ring. This film is about every child’s right to development and respect.

After the screening, an open conversation took place. The children discussed what it means to have the right to be yourself, the right to support from adults, the right to safety, and the right to dream and achieve.

These meetings show that when you speak seriously and sincerely with children, they respond with depth, honesty, and maturity.

The events are held as part of the “Skills of the Third Millennium” project, implemented by the High Hub Youth Center of the Vysochansk Village Council, with support from the Kharkiv Community Foundation “Toloka” under the project “Community Pulse” funded by The Global Fund for Community Foundations.
