The social cohesion event “Table Tennis Tournament for Everyone” took place on October 5 at the sports hall of the Palace of Culture and Arts in the Babai settlement. It was organized by the Youth Center High Hub in collaboration with the Vysochanska Youth Sports School.
Determined athletes and young amateurs competed in two groups:
- Ages 10-14: Teens
- Ages 15-35: Youth
Winners were determined in each category:
Youth (15-35 years old):
- 1st place: Maxim Zayichenko, 26, Pokotylivka
- 2nd place: Andriy Syvakov, 34, Babai
- 3rd place: Vladyslav Berezhnyi, 23, Babai
Teens (10-14 years old):
- 1st place: Tymur Kulish, 11, Babai
- 2nd place: Viktoriya Baklushina, 12, Babai
- 3rd place: Angelina Karpina, 13, Babai
Angelina, 13 years old: “I really enjoyed this event. It was my first time at the Youth Center, and I had such a great time with my friends and also met new people.”
Andriy, 34 years old: “I found out about the tournament at work. This is an important event for our community, and I try to attend other activities at the Youth Center whenever I can.”
