The Youth Center is about equality, tolerance, and social cohesion.
It is a safe space for all socially vulnerable groups, so we decided to celebrate our anniversary with a training session on promoting equality and tolerance.
On October 12, 2024, our High Hub Youth Center celebrated its 2nd anniversary since its opening.
It’s great that our community grows day by day, welcoming around 330 unique young people, and we have branches in Pokotilivka and Vysoke.
Support from local government and community leaders is crucial for the youth and our development.
We thank the First Deputy Head of the Vysoky Village Council, Ivan Mykhailychenko, for the support and congratulations on our holiday. Together, we are a force that is changing the country for the better.
During the second activity, the youth played their favorite game, Kahoot!, dedicated to young people and their rights. Participants benefited from the knowledge gained during previous training sessions of our program promoting equality and tolerance, “All Different – All Our Own.”
The winners of the game were Eva, Yaroslav, and Valentyn, regular attendees of our Youth Center.
Eva, 16 years old: “I am a volunteer at the High Hub Youth Center. I have attended various programs and seminars and participated in BUR activities. I am interested in international exchanges and internships for our youth abroad, so I found it easy to answer the questions in the Kahoot! game.”
Yaroslav, 15 years old: “I have been coming to the High Hub Youth Center since the summer of this year. I really enjoy the social cohesion activities. Today, I won the Kahoot! game because I am interested in issues of gender equality and social inclusion, and I want to deepen my knowledge further.”
The project is implemented by the NGO “Association of Youth Leaders of Ukraine” and the NGO “Youth Platform” as part of the USAID Ukraine program – USAID Ukraine Dream and Act, which is executed by IREX in Ukraine.
