Volunteers and Deputies Attend the Unveiling of a Memorial Plaque for Hero of Ukraine, Surgeon, and Lieutenant of the Medical Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Vladyslav Tytarenko

A memorial plaque was unveiled in honor of Vladyslav Tytarenko, a Hero of Ukraine, a surgeon, and a lieutenant in the medical service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He previously worked as a surgeon at the City Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital No. 25. Today, Vladyslav would have turned 30.

Vladyslav Tytarenko was born in the town of Borova. After graduating from high school with honors, he decided to dedicate his life to medicine. At the university, he took a military oath and received the rank of junior lieutenant in the reserve.

During his studies, he volunteered at the hospice of the 17th City Multidisciplinary Clinical Hospital while continuing to train as a surgeon.

In December 2022, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and in April 2023, he was deployed to the Kupyansk district, where he saved the lives of our soldiers wounded during combat.

In his last month of work alone, he performed 557 surgeries, and his primary surgical team in the village of Kuglyakivka, Kupyansk district, treated 1,016 people.

On August 5, 2023, at 8:25 p.m., the enemy struck the House of Culture in the village of Kruglyakivka with two guided aerial bombs, where the forward surgical team was located. At that time, Vladyslav Tytarenko was in the operating room providing medical assistance.

Eternal memory to the Hero of Ukraine who gave his life to save others. The memorial plaque has been installed at 122 Oleksandrivsky Avenue.
