On June 30, 2024, the community gathered in our church in honor of Reverend Agapit Pechersky in the famous village of Pokotylivka. Today is the first Sunday after Pentecost, which means All Saints’ Day!
The divine service was held sublimely and solemnly. We prayed for our brave soldiers defending Ukraine, for our government and people, as well as for the repose of the souls of the fallen defenders and civilians. All present received communion of the Holy Mysteries of Christ.
After the service, Father Superior congratulated us on the holiday. Then we continued our conversation over tea together. It was nice to meet each other, share news and just be together on this festive day.
