On May 14, the first meeting in the series “First Capital. Dream and Act” took place at the High Hub Youth Center of the Vysochanska settlement council. The event was held by representatives of Kharkiv Business Hub, a center that supports entrepreneurs in Kharkiv.
The main insight of the meeting: if you have a great idea (intellectual capital) and a reliable team (social capital), it becomes much easier to find financial capital through grant programs, investors, or crowdfunding.
Special attention was given to the ecosystem of youth support. Representatives of the hub spoke about:
Grant opportunities for youth startups and social initiatives.
Mentorship programs, where experienced entrepreneurs help newcomers avoid common mistakes.
Educational courses on marketing, management, and legal aspects of running a business in Ukraine.
The key message of the event was not to be afraid of starting small.
Participants will be able to use the knowledge gained both for managing their personal budgets and for writing their first business plans or grant applications.
