On May 25, visitors of the Municipal Institution Youth Center “High Hub” of the Vysokyi settlement council took part in a national-patriotic training held on the territory of the Vysokyi community.
The training and air rifle shooting competition were organized by the Kharkiv Regional Association of Public Organizations of Disabled Persons and War Veterans.
Boys and girls had the opportunity to undergo training from real professionals — veterans and active military personnel with combat experience in the following disciplines:
- Tactical medicine: participants practiced applying tourniquets, stopping bleeding, and evacuating the wounded
- Firearms training: familiarization with the structure of small arms, rules of safe handling, shooting with an air rifle
- Mine safety: the instructor demonstrated models of explosive devices, spoke about various cases at the front when attention to detail and knowledge of technical aspects saved the lives of servicemen
- Basics of sniping
- Briefing from Special Operations Forces servicemen, familiarization with the equipment used by the Special Operations Forces
The training ended with a formation and awarding of the most active participants.
