The Employment Service supports young people in professional self-determination, the development of necessary skills, and the search for their first job.

A large-scale career guidance event, “Trajectory of Success: From Education to Career,” was held in Kharkiv, co-organized by the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center together with the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration.

Among the participants of the event were Head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, Head of the Kharkiv Regional Council Tetiana Yehorova-Lutsenko, employers, business representatives, and heads of communities and educational institutions of the region.

Students became acquainted with modern professions, communicated with specialists from various fields, discovered new prospects for professional development, and took another step toward a conscious choice of their future profession.

Specialists of the regional employment service conducted career guidance testing to determine professional aptitudes. Interest in it was extremely high: more than 400 participants completed the testing and received useful recommendations regarding their professional future.

Representatives of the Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education of the State Employment Service presented training areas in skilled trades. Young people had the opportunity not only to familiarize themselves with educational programs, but also to take part in practical activities — in particular, to see the welding process and sewing products.

Visitors also learned about admission opportunities to higher education institutions in the Kharkiv region, communicated with representatives of universities, institutes, and employers regarding prospects for education, employment, and further professional development.

“I am convinced that such events help students better understand their abilities and interests, become familiar with current labor market needs, and choose their own professional path with greater confidence,” said Denys Oliinyk, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center.
