🚐 On May 1st, a mobile employment center operated for residents of the Barvinkove community.
Attendees were introduced to the full range of services offered by the employment service. In particular, they learned about state programs supporting employers, opportunities for funding to start or develop their own business, vocational training, obtaining vouchers, and involvement in socially useful work.
Local employers – LLC “Barvinkove-Agro”, the “Grais” farming enterprise, Barvinkove City Hospital, the Department of Education, Culture, Youth and Sports of the City Council, the Territorial Center for Social Services, the City Center for Social Services, the utility company “Blahoustrii”, as well as local entrepreneurs – offered jobs for drivers, food salespeople, social workers, tractor drivers, animal care workers, electricians, and doctors.
As part of the visit, the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, visited grant recipient Oksana Grazhdanova, who received a microgrant for breeding sheep and goats to develop a farming business. He also met with the Mayor of Barvinkove, Oleksandr Bal, to discuss further cooperation between the employment service and the community.
“The employment service today is not only about job search but also about supporting entrepreneurship, improving qualifications, and participating in socially useful projects. We strive to be closer to people and respond quickly to the needs of communities and employers,” noted Oleksandr Kotukov.
As a result of the event: 10 people expressed interest in obtaining microgrants to start their own business; 7 people wanted to receive training vouchers; employers selected candidates for the following vacancies: driver – 2 people, maintenance mechanic – 2, tractor driver – 2, animal care worker – 2.
