The Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, together with the Coordination Humanitarian Center, held an informational event for veterans and female veterans, as well as members of their families.
During the meeting, visitors were informed about the opportunities of the employment service, available support programs, and further steps after returning to civilian life.
Employment service specialists spoke about current job vacancies and employment services, as well as opportunities to receive grants for starting or developing one’s own business. Special attention was paid to issues of education and skills upgrading — through vouchers, within various programs and projects, as well as training at vocational education centers of the State Employment Service.
“We sincerely strive for every veteran and every female veteran to feel that they are not left alone with their questions. We are nearby, ready to support, advise, and help find a new professional path,” said Denys Oliinyk, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center.
Representatives of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Department of Social Policy, the Department of Administrative Services and Consumer Market of the Kharkiv City Council also took part in the event.
The employment service offers veterans, female veterans, and members of their families a wide range of services aimed at promoting employment, professional adaptation, development of entrepreneurial activity, and successful integration into civilian life.
