📌 Job fair in Slobozhanske, – Kharkiv Regional Employment Service

📌 Ярмарок вакансій у Слобожанському, - Харківська обласна служба зайнятості

Last week, the mobile employment center operated in the Zmiiv region — in the town of Slobozhanske.

Employment service specialists informed job fair visitors about the services provided by the agency. Local residents learned about state grant programs for starting or developing their own businesses, how to undergo professional training — in particular, through a voucher for advanced training. Special attention was given to socially useful work within the framework of the “Recovery Army” project.

During the event, employers such as the Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant, Gagarin Agrofirm LLC, Zmiiv Vegetable Factory, Slobozhanske Hospital, utility companies “Hospodar-2” and “Komunalnyk,” as well as private entrepreneur Nataliya Vitaliivna Chernobai, presented current job openings.

These included: electrical locksmith, electrician, electronics engineer, excavator operator, fruit and vegetable grower, landscaper, driver, painter, fashion designer, cutter, plasterer, family doctor, paramedic, agronomist, tractor driver, dairy worker, and others. Job seekers were informed about working conditions, payment systems, benefits, work schedules, and more.

As part of the visit, the director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, held a working meeting with the head of Slobozhanske village, Dmytro Dikhtiar. They discussed key areas of cooperation concerning the organization of public and temporary work, employment of internally displaced persons, and outlined further steps for joint efforts. The head of the community thanked the employment service for its cooperation and emphasized the importance of holding such field events.

The director of the regional employment center also visited local entrepreneurs who had used the “Own Business” grant program to develop their enterprises.

The final part of the trip was a meeting between Oleksandr Kotukov and Ihor Babenko, director of the Zmiiv Thermal Power Plant of PJSC “Centrenergo.” The participants discussed current employer support programs as well as opportunities for professional retraining and advanced training of employees through vouchers. As a result of the negotiations, the parties signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

“Mobile outreach visits are one of the most effective tools for establishing direct communication between the employment service, employers, and job seekers. We don’t just inform — we build trust and offer real solutions to employment issues on the ground,” commented Oleksandr Kotukov.
