Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Denys Oliinyk, took part in the international business forum “Kharkiv Insight 2026.”
During the panel discussion and open dialogue with entrepreneurs, participants discussed current issues of the socio-economic development of Kharkiv region and the challenges that businesses are facing today.
During his speech, Denys Oliinyk emphasized that in wartime conditions, entrepreneurship is not only about economic indicators, but also about resilience, responsibility, and contribution to the recovery of the region. An important part of the dialogue was the discussion of the real needs of businesses and the search for effective support tools.
The head of the regional employment service presented current opportunities for employers and entrepreneurs:
grant programs — from microgrants for starting a business to support for the processing industry
mechanisms for compensating costs when creating new jobs
opportunities for professional training and retraining of personnel in accordance with labor market needs.
Special attention was paid to the work of the “Made in Ukraine” offices, which operate in Kharkiv region as modern consulting hubs for businesses, where entrepreneurs can receive comprehensive support — from idea to implementation and development of their own business.
Such meetings are about trust, openness, and a shared understanding of where to move next. It is during such discussions that solutions are born that help businesses operate, develop, and gradually restore the region’s economy.
