As a result of the 23rd selection wave of the “Own Business” program/grant (November 10–23), Kharkiv region ranked among the top three regions in Ukraine for the number of approved microgrants.
Financial support totaling UAH 14.7 million will be received by 32 entrepreneurs from Kharkiv, enabling them to start or expand their own businesses and create 60 new jobs.
Applicants traditionally show the greatest interest in the service and trade sectors: opening laundries and dry cleaners, household goods and food stores, as well as in manufacturing areas, including the production of soft polypropylene containers.
Even amid the full-scale war, entrepreneurs in Kharkiv demonstrate resilience and a willingness to invest in their own ideas, develop businesses, create jobs, and contribute to the region’s recovery and economic stability.
