The Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, along with specialists from the “Made in Ukraine” offices, participated in the conference “Entrepreneurship without Barriers: ‘Made in Ukraine’ Offices as Drivers of Change.” The event took place with the support of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Ukraine, in cooperation with the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, the State Employment Service, and the CSR Development Center within the framework of the project “Transformational Recovery for the Safety of People in Ukraine,” implemented with financial support from the Government of Japan.
Currently, there are 81 “Made in Ukraine” offices operating in Ukraine, six of which are in the Kharkiv region: in Berestyn, Valky, Zatopol, Nova Vodolaha, Kharkiv, and Chuhuiv. Since the opening of the first office in the Kharkiv region, visitors have received 2,317 consultations. The most common interests of local entrepreneurs are various aspects of the “Own Business” program, as well as questions related to writing business plans for grants, training vouchers, compensation programs for employers, the eOselya state initiative, and the 5-7-9% loan program.
“Our goal is to create opportunities for everyone to realize their potential. The purpose of the offices is to create platforms for communication with entrepreneurs, where they can receive comprehensive information about state, regional, local, and international business support programs,” says Oleksandr Kotukov.
