In the Kharkiv region, the mobile employment center continues its work.
For almost two years, a mobile employment center has been operating in the Kharkiv region. The first field visit of specialists took place in November 2023 to the de-occupied village of Kamianka in the Izium district.
During these events, representatives of the employment service inform community residents about the opportunities provided by the Service: employment options, current vacancies, training vouchers, participation in microgrant and grant programs for creating or developing their own business, as well as temporary employment opportunities, including socially useful work, and compensation programs for employer support.
Special attention is given to career guidance for school students and their parents. Students get acquainted with the labor market in a playful format, learning how to choose a profession based on their abilities, interests, and personal qualities. Interactive methods are used — testing, surveys, role-playing games, training sessions, and career guidance quests.
Consultations are held for parents, where topics such as supporting children in choosing a profession, overcoming stereotypes, and forming a conscious attitude toward their future careers are discussed.
Over the two years, 44 field events have been conducted, during which 2,458 community residents received services, including 402 internally displaced persons. A total of 305 employers were involved in cooperation.
As a result of job fairs, 164 people found employment, 300 people were engaged in temporary work, 55 people received training vouchers, and 22 participants benefited from the “Own Business” microgrant program.
Specialists of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Service have visited almost every accessible part of the frontline region.
“We go where our people are waiting for us. Our task is to bring the opportunities of the employment service to every resident of the region, regardless of where they live,” said the Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov. “We will continue to carry out field visits to inform and support citizens in employment and business development.”
The Kharkiv Regional Employment Center received a mobile employment center equipped with technical tools — a laptop, tablet, multifunction printer, generator, and power station — as part of a project implemented with the support of UNDP Ukraine under the UN Recovery and Peacebuilding Programme, financed by the Government of Germany through Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH GIZ Ukraine.
