🎓 Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, took part in the opening of the “Young Diplomat School 4.0.” This project is being implemented in cooperation with the Kharkiv City Council, higher education institutions, and public organizations. Its goal is to prepare a new generation of diplomatic professionals in Ukraine.
💼 During the event, Oleksandr Kotukov spoke about the Employment Service’s initiatives aimed at supporting young people and integrating them into the labor market. One of the key areas is the opportunity to receive a grant to start a business. Entrepreneurs in the Kharkiv region have a unique chance to receive grant funding of up to 500,000 UAH—twice as much as in other regions. Additionally, young people under 25 can apply for a special program that offers 150,000 UAH without the mandatory condition of hiring employees.
☕ The discussion also covered popular business ideas among young grant recipients, including the creation of art spaces, opening coffee shops, and more. Participants were also informed about compensation programs for employers hiring young professionals.
🗣️ “Youth in governance is not just about age but about values, innovative projects, and approaches to their implementation,” Kotukov emphasized. He noted that Ukrainian youth are eager for development, interested in state-building processes, and want to be part of the changes.
❓ The attendees actively asked questions, particularly about in-demand professions in the labor market. The head of the regional employment service provided comprehensive answers to all inquiries.
🤝 The opening of the “Young Diplomat School” was also attended by the First Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv, Oleksandr Novak, representatives of youth public organizations, and other distinguished guests.
