🌟 Professional training as a key to economic recovery and regional development, – Kharkiv Regional Employment Service

🌟 Професійне навчання як ключ до відновлення економіки та розвитку регіону, - Харківська обласна служба зайнятості

The Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Denys Oliynyk, participated in the off-site meeting “Dialogue between Authorities and Business,” which took place at the Kharkiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education of the State Employment Service (hereinafter – KhC VTE SES).

The event was also attended by the Director of the State Employment Service, Yuliya Zhovtyak; Member of Parliament of Ukraine, Mariya Mezentseva-Fedorenko; Chairman of the Supervisory Board of KhC VTE SES, Viktor Kvashin; and regional employers – members of the Supervisory Board.

“Professional training today is the key to economic recovery. And KhC VTE SES is one of the most powerful in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, over 7,600 people have been trained here, 80% of whom have been employed. More than 1,300 people just this year have completed training commissioned and funded by employers. Over 60% of Ukrainians who approached the employment service were engaged in our active programs,” noted Yuliya Zhovtyak.

During the dialogue, current issues were discussed regarding the expansion of business support programs, reintegration of veterans, training opportunities at the SES Vocational Training Centers, of which there are currently eight in Ukraine, as well as the preservation and expansion of enterprises’ workforce potential.

“Today it is especially important that business and the employment service work together. We see a real demand from employers for qualified personnel and are ready to respond promptly – offering modern training, retraining, and skills improvement programs. Our task is to create conditions where every person can find a job and every enterprise can access the specialists it needs,” emphasized Denys Oliynyk.
