Development of entrepreneurship in the Kharkiv region — even in wartime conditions
Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center Denys Oliinyk took part in a round table titled “Development of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Kharkiv region under wartime conditions”.
During the meeting, the opportunities of state grant programs were presented, which today help businesses to be created, restored, and developed.
The Own Business Program /grant/ is already demonstrating real results:
1,720 entrepreneurs of the Kharkiv region have received microgrants to start or develop their businesses since the launch of the program.
A separate direction is support for veterans and their families:
68 veterans and family members of veterans have already taken the opportunity to start or scale their own business.
An important direction is also microgrants for youth, as support for young entrepreneurship shapes the economic future of the region.
During the event, other business support programs were also discussed:
grants for the processing industry
grants for business recovery
support for preschool education
grants for creative industries.
Special attention was also paid to the program “Energy Support for Individual Entrepreneurs”, which is active until March 31. It gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to strengthen the energy resilience of their businesses.
Participants were also informed about compensation programs for employers for the employment of:
internally displaced persons
youth
unemployed people from socially vulnerable categories
persons with disabilities, with compensation for workplace arrangement.
The work of the “Made in Ukraine” offices was also discussed separately — currently, 6 such offices operate in the Kharkiv region, helping entrepreneurs gain access to state support programs.
