The Kharkiv Regional Employment Service continues its practice of outreach events aimed at ensuring the accessibility of its services for residents of the region.
Recently, specialists from the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, together with employers, visited the city of Pivdenne in the Kharkiv district.
During the event, visitors were informed about the opportunities provided by the Service — employment, temporary work (including socially useful work), starting a business, vocational training, and retraining. A pilot project was also presented, which allows women to acquire new, previously “male” professions.
Among the employers seeking workers were the Kharkiv Metro, ground transportation enterprises of Kharkiv, the “New Style” company, and others. Employer representatives spoke about available vacancies, working conditions, and career growth opportunities.
“We strive to ensure that every resident of the region, regardless of their place of residence, has access to the full range of our services. That’s why outreach events have become a good tradition. They help people find jobs faster and help employers find the right specialists. It is especially important today to support proactive citizens who wish to start their own businesses or acquire new professions,” said Oleksandr Kotukov, Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center.
Oleksandr Kotukov also visited grant program participant Iryna Krylova — the founder of the beauty salon “AURA beauty” in Pivdenne, established thanks to grant funding. The entrepreneur shared her experience of starting a business and expressed gratitude to the employment service for its support at all stages of implementing her idea.
Iryna Krylova said: “I had long dreamed of opening my own salon but didn’t have the opportunity. Thanks to the grant program and the support of the employment service, my dream became a reality. Now I not only do what I love but also created new jobs for women in our town.”
