The Yuliia Skubak Charitable Foundation has become one of the organizers of socially useful work in the Kharkiv region.
Director of the Kharkiv Regional Employment Center, Oleksandr Kotukov, visited the foundation’s locations in the Derhachi community, where unemployed citizens work together with volunteers as part of the “Army of Recovery” project.
Here, people don’t just perform tasks — they help others. Participants pack and distribute humanitarian aid and organize psychological support sessions for children, teenagers, and women affected by the war.
“This is a great example of how socially useful work can combine support for unemployed individuals with real assistance to communities.
Every participant feels that their work matters,” said Kotukov.
Thanks to cooperation with the foundation, 16 unemployed citizens were involved in socially useful work during 2024–2025.
“We see that people gladly take part in such initiatives. It’s not just a job — it’s an opportunity to be helpful and to do something meaningful for the community,” the head of the regional employment service added.
