Information about the organization:
The public organization “Veterans’ Wives” began its work in 2017, and was created by the families of veterans who defended and defend the freedom and independence of our country, for consolidation and mutual support. The activities of the NGO “Wives of Veterans” are aimed at social integration – the creation of a favorable environment for the social integration of veterans into civilian life.
We provide psychological and social support, as well as open opportunities for new social contacts.
Veteran education – we co-organize educational programs for veterans and women veterans, aimed at improving their qualifications, forming new skills and competencies that are extremely necessary in Ukrainian society today.
Civic activism – spreading the culture of civic activism among veterans and their families. We promote the participation of female veterans and their family members in public life, volunteer programs and various initiatives.
Patriotic education – Promotion of patriotic education among young people and general support of national values.
We organize events, lectures and projects that contribute to understanding and honoring the history of Ukraine and the contribution of veterans to the independence and security of Ukraine.
Support for families of veterans – promotion of family values and traditions in Ukrainian society, promotion of a healthy lifestyle. We believe that the family is the foundation for building a strong and united society. we promote popularization of family values and traditions in Ukrainian society. By developing an understanding and respect for the role of the family, we foster healthy relationships, promote psychosocial health, and strengthen the spirituality of our nation.
Promotion of a healthy lifestyle in the veteran environment – by providing access to special programs for physical education, sports and healthy nutrition, we promote general physical and mental well-being. Such integrated support not only provides veterans with appropriate conditions for adaptation in the family environment, but also contributes to the formation of a stable foundation for the future generation. The main task of “Veterans’ Wives” is to create the best conditions for the heroes and heroines of our country after returning from the front.
