On May 23, a wine painting master class by artist Maryna Morska from the village of Pokotylivka was held at the High Hub Youth Center of the Vysokyi Settlement Council.
The event began with an intriguing theoretical part about preparing wine material for painting. After the artist’s instructions, the participants armed themselves with brushes, special watercolor paper, and a “tipsy palette,” and under the careful guidance of the artist began their work. The process required special precision and step-by-step layering, as wine behaves on paper very differently from ordinary paints.
Each participant chose her own subject: from elegant silhouettes and cozy landscapes to abstract images. At the end of the master class, a mini exhibition of the created paintings took place. Each artwork turned out completely unique, with its own character and mood.
The participants shared their impressions of the unusual experience, noting that this format helped them fully “recharge” and forget everyday worries.
