And once again, it’s the weekend, and once again, there’s plenty of work to do. We walk through the city, delivering food packages, medicine, flashlights, and clothing.
This time, our food packages included homemade preserves from the wonderful Mrs. Nelya Rozhko and her husband, Mr. Oleksandr, from the Museum-Estate of Green Tourism “Omelkova Khata” (NGO “Initiative of Khorolshchyna”).
Thanks to the Rememberus.org foundation, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, and @Oksana Bondar, we were able to purchase flour, rice, oil, canned fish, peas, corn, mushrooms, pâté, sugar, pasta, sausage products, stewed meat, cookies, and legumes. Each package is a weekly food supply for one family.
