📦 Food aid for frontline villages: volunteers carry hope even under sirens – NGO “Veterans’ Wives”
🕯️ On Saturday evening, as Kharkiv once again trembles from the sound of air raid sirens, volunteer Olha Chystiakova keeps going — at the warehouse, she’s assembling food packages for residents of frontline communities in the Kharkiv region. Calm and determined, she packs box after box, bag after bag for people living close to the war zone. Tomorrow, these parcels will head to the Bohodukhiv community.
💪 Why do we do this? Because we are not bystanders. We are part of this story.
🛡️ Because our husbands, brothers, sons are fighting. And we are holding the rear.
🏠 Because behind every soldier stands a family, and behind every frontline house are people who must not be left alone with war.
🤝 This is more than humanitarian aid. It’s a way of saying “we are here” when things get the scariest.
❤️ This is about responsibility. About heart. About love for our own.
🙏 We are deeply grateful to @rememberus for supporting this initiative. Thanks to you, we can keep going — even when sirens wail again around us.
🌟 Because even in darkness, we know why we shine.
💖 We are incredibly thankful to the Rememberus.org foundation, Igor Korsunsky, Julia Preshman Korsunsky, and Oksana Bondar for supporting this effort. Thanks to you, this help truly reaches the most remote corners where it is awaited with hope.
🕯️ Because when darkness surrounds — there are always those who light the way.
✨ And that light lives in every packed box, every delivered parcel, every day someone survives thanks to this support.
