Our team at the NGO “Veterans’ Wives” once again had an important and moving mission — we delivered food packages to Kharkiv residents living in a frontline city, who suffer from shelling almost every day.
Food packages were received by elderly people, internally displaced families, families of our defenders, and those who found themselves alone in the war. Each package contained not only food but also a piece of warmth, support, and gratitude.
We saw eyes full of tears. We heard sincere “thank you”s that warm the heart as much as a cozy blanket in a cold home.
These moments remind us why we work.
