Holidays during the war are often experienced differently. When a husband is at the front, loneliness and tension can hit especially hard, and feelings of guilt over one’s own emotions only intensify this state. This is not a weakness, but a normal reaction to long separation and uncertainty.
We have gathered practical advice from psychologists for women who are waiting: how to support yourself during the holidays, reduce internal pressure, and not face it all alone. If it feels difficult right now—you have the right to support, and it is nearby.
The project is implemented with the support of the KSE Foundation, the charitable fund of the Kyiv School of Economics.
