🔥 We have a new friend — Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Lisovyi!
On June 24, it was truly buzzing at the Municipal Youth Center “High Hub” of the Vysochanska Settlement Council — not from the heat, but from attention. When the Minister walks into your youth center not just to look around, but to listen — that means something.
We discussed youth policy, extracurricular education, fostering leadership qualities in young people, volunteering, and… our dreams.
We also shared the story behind this youth space — a story of cooperation between the Vysochanska Settlement Council and the Serhiy Zhadan Charitable Foundation, which helped make the “High Hub” Youth Center a reality.
It was especially symbolic that right here in our Center, the Minister of Education and Science and Serhiy Zhadan signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Foundation. They agreed on Serhiy’s involvement in updating educational content under the “Education for Life” policy and transforming school libraries.
Yes, youth are not just the future — they are already the present of our country. They are the ones defending Ukraine on the frontlines, working in the rear, and the ones who will live and build the Ukraine of our dreams.
We are grateful for the interest in youth policy, for the support and inspiration.
At the end of the meeting, there were warm words, and Vysochanskyi Settlement Head Oleksandr Moroz gifted the minister souvenirs featuring Hryhorii Skovoroda and a book about the history of the village of Babai.
And our Cheshire cat, Diamond, was lucky enough to snap a photo with Oksen Vasylovych and Serhiy Viktorovych on the steps of our Youth Center.
The Youth Center continues to grow and get better — and as always, we are waiting for young people to join us for exciting events.
Youth has a voice. And we — are its sound.
