NGO “Veterans’ Companions” at the international conference Lions United for Ukraine: a step towards strengthening cooperation.
The “Veterans’ Companions” team actively participated in the Lions United for Ukraine conference held on September 28 in Lviv. The event discussed key issues of humanitarian support for Ukraine during the war. Representatives from the international Lions club from various countries, including Sweden, Romania, Belgium, France, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, and the USA, were present at the conference.
This meeting was an important step in strengthening international cooperation and attracting the necessary resources to support Ukrainian citizens during this challenging time. Our partners from the Lions club confirmed their readiness to assist Ukraine in the humanitarian sector, specifically providing aid to the families of military personnel, veterans, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups.
We are grateful for this opportunity and the support of our international friends. We look forward to further fruitful cooperation for the restoration of peace and well-being in Ukraine.
