Kharkiv. 53 strikes overnight. Alarms, explosions, fear, and fatigue. But in the morning — we gathered and set off. The team of the NGO “Veterans’ Squads” delivered food packages and medicine to Kharkiv residents who cannot leave their homes or are alone.
We saw tearful eyes, heard “Thank you for not forgetting us,” held the hands of grandmothers and grandfathers, and embraced mothers with children who hid in the bathroom at night. We were not just delivering food — we were bringing support. Quiet, persistent, unbreakable.
We are tired but not broken. Because we know that even one trip can be an important support for someone. And soon we will go again. Because we are there for each other. Because we are Kharkiv.
